PREP!

One year.

So much change.

One Summer holiday.

Never to be forgotten.

I'm noticing the details. I'm trying to remember them. Sometimes the changes are subtle. Soft.

Sometimes.

And sometimes they're not. 

Sometimes they're loud. Sometimes they're excited. Sometimes they're bursting with nervous anticipation. Sometimes the giddy & glee is more than can be contained. 

As it should be.

Sweet boy. I love you so. I wish this next change to be full of joy & beauty & friendships & stability. 

I hope to see your happy overflow. x

Then he moves with it or away from it. One delightful grounded step at a time.

Flying. Always flying. Either physically or ethereally.
Sometimes when you fly, you crash and burn.
Often he blows with the wind.
But mostly, he flies.

Once upon a time I quite fancied the idea of being a band photographer.

Travel. Late nights. Endless parties. Sex. Drugs. Rock & roll.

Now, hrmm, this kinda says is all....

That said though, I'm always a sucker for live and local music.

So I said yes, forfeited my early morning cuppa, and shot this great folk band early Saturday morning.

The Autumn winds whisper. They whisper as they pass.

They tell their tiny secrets to the flowers and the grass...

There is much cause for contemplation, and gratefully time also.

I see spirals everywhere.

Depth.

Trust.

Stillness.

The answers are slowly revealing themselves....

We gather them together, piece by piece, golden treasures on our path.

We look forward with equal parts nervous anticipation & excited joy.
